The evolution of Always Right!

This is the evolution of always right, which was the first song i ever started and finished (one of the many "firsts"). The earliest versions sound like absolute crap, and it gets really embarrassing when i added the vocals, but hey, DO keep in mind i was a musical BABY when i made these! I'm actually impressed i managed to get that messy project to output the final version, because it doesn't sound as bad as it could have. Even though this is an old song, and there are many issues with it that are just too tough to fix, i still feel an attachment to it because it was the first thing i managed to finish and it made me say "damn, if i keep grinding at this i might be able to make something that's actually decent" (that day has not come)

This has always felt like a "red" song, whatever that means.

Prome! ยท Always Right (Song Evolutions)
  • "Always right 1 earliest" You can clearly see i was trying to be punk-ish

  • "Synth huh" I somehow got this synth with an arpeggiator up in there and i was like "damn this is GREAT! when it syncs up, that is..." and since i didn't know how to make it consistent i had to scrap it

  • "Violin" YES, there IS a violin in this song, believe it or not. I didn't manage to make it pop out as much as i wanted to.

  • "Solo for testing purposes" Not sure what i was testing but god damn does this suck ass. It's the ugly high school photo of this list.

  • "Always right alpha" Get used to these vocals, just with slightly different mixing every time.

  • "Always right 2.0" This was before the consistent "alpha" and "beta" system i used later on. But at least it sounds slightly better now!

  • "Always right 4.0" Very close to what the final version sounded like.
